Sunshine in the Mist

Forecast: partly cloudy, 84 degrees (F) with 40% chance of rain.

Woke up this morning to mist (light fog?) and so snapped a few images first thing, but then a little later, as the sun finally got high enough to peak through the trees, the rays shone in the mist just beautifully.

I waited through most of the day hoping for some rain/thunderstorm drama, but other than a few sprinkles, none was to be had. So this is my MonoMonday: Weather submission...sunshine in the mist.
