Reach for the sky

On my journey to work, I cycle past the site on the corner of Bristol Road and Edgbaston Park Road upon which (until recently) stood the Gun Barrels pub. Now the constructors have moved in and its place will soon be taken by Birmingham's first Olympic-size swimming pool. I'm not sure what they're doing here; maybe they're drilling for water.
