My birthday

A great start to the day with freshly made carrot and pineapple juice plus a cooked breakfast - thanks Dave. Then a skype with Kariba. A nice relaxing day at home with a good hour and a half together in the kitchen - Dave making my cake, an apple and almond tart - and me cooking some treats to take to work to share tomorrow.

Abby, Ants and Mum here for tea. We fired up the BBQ to cook steaks, it is so good to have the outdoor area that is roofed over and enclosed on two sides.

The roses are from Dave - a dozen very long stemmed ones.

Then we all skyped Kariba again and had a good long chat as I opened some thoughtful presents. Thanks everyone for a great day!
