SUNRISE.......

... over the Nepean River.

As most of you know my favourite Blip site is around our mighty Nepean River. Had made the decision on the forecast to try for a sunrise, and found another angle for you. This is looking North East from the west side of the river, and the building you can see across the way is the remains of the Log Cabin Hotel Motel which you can read in the link, that in March 2012 the 80 year old Hotel sadly was burnt to the ground from an electrical fault. What is left there is the a joining Motel, now in disrepair since the fire.

Liked this shot with the bit of early morning haze on the water giving the sun flare and reflection a different look.

Just after the sun awoke, I could hear a rustling in the bush behind me, fearing what has been reported a possible "ghost" in the area, turned the camera slowly around and took a shot.
On checking if you look in the bottom right corner, the damn ghost was waving to me........ ha ha !!!
