Bit of a disappointing visit to Cathkin Marsh bird reserve as all the wildlife was, well, somewhat reserved, and turned positively churlish at the sight of a camera. I thought of blipping the information board - it showed lovely sketches of all the creatures I didn't see, but I decided that was a bit cynical. So here's a blurry swan taking off from the water. it really doesn't do the amazing aeronautics anything like justice.
