Rose addition

I mentioned that I wanted to improve my cooking skills a few days ago, I think I will also improve my gardening (from "time to mow the lawn I see"). My dad gave me this rose bush to add to the garden which I planted up today. It doesn't have a smell, apparently that's the deal with roses these days: you can have prettiness or you can have fragrance, you can't have both.
