Lavender in Lafayette

It was another beautiful day in San Francisco. As I've said, this is not to be taken for granted, as June, July and August are often the coldest wettest months in the city.

This shot is taken in Lafayette Park, located in the upscale Pacific Heights neighbourhood. The view is south-west toward Twin Peaks and the controversial San Francisco icon, Sutro Tower. The tower is the highest point in San Francisco and can usually be seen peeking above the San Francisco fog.
