Poet for Hire

We've had a lovely day today with Pokeybagel and Emmala who came down to Brighton. We went to meet them at the station and were looking out for them when Alan said 'here they are'. He's never met them before, but thanks to Blip and FB he recognised them straight away.

We wandered down to the sea front and went to Alresco's for lunch and as the sun was shining we sat on the terrace. Naomi and Emma said it was raining when they left home, but once again it avoided Brighton. After lunch we walked to the pier, and passed this poet sat on the beach - it's not something you see every day, so he had to be my blip - only in Brighton lol!

Anyway we had a walk on the pier, then into town and stopped for a drink at the cafe in the pavilion gardens before heading to North Laine. The time flew and we couldn't believe how late it was, so Naomi and Emma headed to the station and Alan and I wandered back into town as there was some interesting street art he wanted to show me. It's been a great day and I hope it's not too long before they come back to visit us again.

The exciting news is that tomorrow we're going to see some Maltese puppies, so watch this space!
