Curry, Ale and Fish
Today's photo is my brother's left leg. Well, part of it. A fragment of the Japanese Shubunkin and sun tattoo on his calf. Snapped with my phone whilst sitting on the sofa next to him at 10pm, both of us scoffing a wonderful oh-so-hot-it-cleared-the-nasal-passages curry made by sis-in-law and washing it down with poison of choice (*) after an exhausting afternoon and evening visiting Dad in hospital.
Today sees the start of my Ale in England series for the summer :)
* Today's Ale of choice : Doom Bar (Sharp's Brewery)
"A fairly recent personal discovery and firm favourite. Sharp's Brewery is an English regional brewery company founded in 1994 in St Minver Lowlands, Rock, Cornwall, by Bill Sharp. The brewery is known for its flagship ale, Doom Bar. The Doom Bar is a sandbar at the mouth of the estuary of the River Camel, where it meets the Celtic Sea on the north coast of Cornwall, England" (Wikipedia).
