Paddle Steamer "Monarch" moored on Wareham River
"The world's smallest commercial paddle steamer"
Built in 1984, the Monarch is just 42 feet long, with a 7 foot 9 inch beam and a 21 inch draught. It has recently come to Wareham and is intended to be used for pleasure cruises on the river Frome.
If you watched the TV documentary "Edwardian Farm", you may recall seeing Monarch at Morwellham Quay in Devon.
