Vera Lynn's perfectly appropriate song closed the funeral of AlfeeTee's Aunty Edna today near Farsley, West Yorks.

She was tiny was Edna, but full of vitality and wit. And she cared for everyone around her. She spoke to the mannequins in M&S; "I saw you last week and you were wearing the same dress".

"Not a tear but a cheer, make it gay. Wish me luck as you wave me goodbye."

As her nephew Marvin said in his eulogy:
