mad dogs and English (wo)men

Emily and Grace expressing their surprise they are on house arrest as it's too hot... Running around the garden is not allowed until evening.

4+ miles walkies home from the garage where the car was having the air con fixed. The pups did well in the heat but as soon as they got home they fell asleep. We set off at 8.15 to get to the garage for 8.30, it was still too hot for me even that early.

A 3/4 mile walk to the bus stop, 10 minute bus ride and another 3/4 mile walk to the garage to collect the car in 29 degree heat. The glacial ride home was worth it :)
