After the downpour: raindrops on petals ....

.... but how many?

A single geranium petal here (under half an inch across) has over fifty drops on it - the largest are clearly visible, but there are drops of smaller sizes discernible at higher magnification; my figure may be a significant underestimate.


We experienced this morning very dramatic downpours this morning, and for a short while the streets of Wareham were under water. No question of flooding from the river, the drains were simply overwhelmed by the volume.

The sun and heat have since returned.
