Fun on the Lake

The grandkids were duly delivered to us this morning by daughter E and son-in-law D. After we loaded the canoe on top of their SUV, we all went La Fiamma for lunch, then headed back to Lake Padden.

Cynthia took a walk around the lake, D ran, and the rest us took to the water. Z and I paddled the canoe, while E and B alternated between the canoe and the SUP (Stand Up Paddleboard). There was some sibling splashing when we stopped at a sandy beach for the change-over.

After dinner, B and I started on his woodworking project, while C and Z were off doing crafty things.

It was a good day!
