The Bells!

I ended my 16 day 'world' tour of England and Scotland back with Chris (aka Xtoffdav) and his wife Jane in Braughing, Hertfordshire.

On Sunday mornings Chris and a few friends ring the bells in Braughing Church. I went along to take a look and was given instructions that I must sit down in a corner, not move and above all not cross my legs!.

Really!

Yes, apparently it's in case a foot gets caught in the loop of a rope and I am propelled into the bell tower!

That would be one hell of a picture!
