Kool Kelpies .......

....... kaught on kamera.

I know, I know, what a very naff title and first line but ......

..... oh, oh, oh, oh, be still my beating heart ........... how extremely beautiful these Kelpies are (and that's an understatement) .... it was worth the hour and half standing there with my camera (no k) on its tripod waiting for the sky to darken, man (and woman) eating bird-sized mosquitoes buzzing all around me (I put on repellant but we'll see whether it worked by morning!), it spitted with rain but it was warm and I took over 150 images!!!

Ever since I saw them on TV I have wanted to see them "live" - and they did not disappoint - in fact they were more beautiful than I imagined ...... I could go on ..... and on ..... and on .....
