View from our room as the sun sets.

We drove to Stansted and with every ease , left the car, the country and everything behind for a week!
When we arrived in Dalaman (Turkey) we had a comfortable transfer by mini bus then water taxi to the island of Şövalye in the gulf of Fethiye where we will be staying for the week in a small hotel called Ece (said 'edjay')
There are no cars or even roads on the island which is narrow and about 3km long. Everything comes and goes by boat. The dominant sound is the cicadas and the background lapping of waves and put-putting of boats.
We unpacked, had a dip in the pool and watched the sun go down before dinner on the terrace - sigh, sooo hard...
