Oooops Part 3

The saga of the wall continues.

Back on the 30th July the hedge disappeared. Ever since then we have been trying to get a 1½ tone digger. This was the first week one was available – must be the school holidays . . .

As we had the digger we took the plunge and checked out some suspicious cracking in the mortar in the wall going up to the front door. Lucky we did as the split went right through the double skin brickwork, including the middle of some of the blocks. That length of wall will be three blocks deep by the time Carl finishes the job.
