Night Harvest

The quiet was broken by the combine about twenty minutes ago. At first we thought it was opposite the house but it is in the field directly to the side. Wonder if it will keep going and do all the fields surrounding the house tonight.

Good day, coffee, fruit bread and papers, housework, lunch, read some GOT, slept for over two hours (think I must have been tired!!), chat with my brother (made me feel sad), cold pizza (phone call from Simon came just as the pizza left the oven, too serious to eat and chat) and home made coleslaw for dinner, sewing together the latest jumper and then the combine!!

(Not sure what the farmer thought of a made woman in her pyjamas, flip flops and camera watching him in the field)
