... a perfect flop
I'm angry with myself.
I should have noticed at the place what I just noticed when reviewing the pictures in the computer.
I have to go back to the place (good it's not very far from home) because I like the shot.. I like the water, the reflections, the bridge, the old houses from the 40's-50's (I hate the cars but it's something we have to live with these modern days)
The exposure of the sky is totally wrong.
I should know this by now. Even if the water is reflecting the sky, the light on both areas is not the same.
Reflected light intensity is never equal to the intensity of the source.
The water is nice, the sky is rubbish and any attempt to correct it with software did not work. The "corrections" immediately turn very visible on the right side of the sky (where the light is even brighter.
And I was having the Graduated ND filters with me.
I keep repeating this to myself but not doing it... TAKE YOUR TIME before shooting... DO 3-4 PICTURES calmly and planned of a place, instead of doing 50 trying to shoot everything and the other.
