Every sea has a silver lining..
..saw this view a whole lot better in the mirror as I drove out of Scourie, but by the time I had parked at the council yard, and walked back down the road, it had changed and lost that "wow" factor. There was a solid silver line across the whole horizon. Still like it though..
Been sorting out quite a lot of things for the development co this morning. Paid the pier insurance, phoned the electric company, phoned the FiT people, phoned Ullapool Construction, phoned the accountant, phoned the Development officers (old and new), and phoned UC a second time.
We've not had an electric bill for the Pavilion yet, just because it hasn't fitted in with their billing schedule, the direct debit is in place for when it does come through. I also wanted to find out if the solar panels have been registered, and this could be a problem. Seems no one knows, and UC are getting back to the installer to find out. Awaiting results, but fear we may have "lost" the payments until we get it sorted out.. Not good.
Then found time to do some of "my" work, a harvest for G and the hotel, and delivered.
The temp dropped below 10 last night for the first time in months, and occasional showers. 14.5 mm of rain yesterday, and still only two days this month without rain.
Music, all together now..
