There is a story

On the last day of our holidays we went to Cave Co-opérative in St Gengoux and bought two bottles of good red wine to lay down for Christmas. Helas! We had forgotten that we couldn't carry liquids in bottles bigger than 100ml in our hand luggage (our only luggage)! This is spite of the fact that we had remembered to dispense toiletries into small bottles and to throw away our water bottles. Result: confiscation of bottles by the security people at Geneva Airport. I laughed. I had to, or I would have cried. I said to the woman that I hoped she could at least take it for herself. She said, quite properly, that she couldn't. I hope she did anyway.

So today we went to a local supermarket where our friend Katsy had told us we would be able to buy wine from her area. So eh voila!
