Oh, I do like to be beside the sea!

We started the day our separate ways, but feeling the benefit of a lie in! Sorry JanetH! Then adopted plan B as the weather so nice it felt a shame not to be out there in it!
So off to formby woods, but so was everyone else, so we headed back a little way to Formby lifeboat beach. Had our picnic, then headed up into the dunes, passing a boy band having a ' silent ' photo shoot, apart from the odd note from the drummer! Then down onto the beach, beautiful whirls in the sand and lots of razor shells. The storm clouds looked to be rolling in fast, but then appeared to follow the estuary. We had an icecream of many colours, interesting, if perhaps not to be repeated! Then up to Southport, we were lucky with parking, and with a free bowling lane! Wonky wii practice obviously pays off! Then a few motor bike races in the arcade ( well if you can call bouncing off walls/ trees and elephants racing!), before a bit of a stroll along the boating lake and fish and chip tea!
