Brief Encounter

I made my way to Belgium today to see the F1 Grand Prix, to get there I had to travel through St Pancras station in London to catch the Eurostar train. If you’ve not been there, I suggest you go because it is a marvel of engineering and there are loads of designer shops as well to buy those essential gifts ;)

This is the 9 metre high statue called “The Meeting Place,” a couple embracing under the station clock which is said to evoke the romanticism of train journeys. It reminds of the film ‘Brief Encounter.’
