Christchurch City

After being obsessed with the gloom of the past few days, I thought it was time to show that we do have good weather! In fact, another day of 20 degrees Celsius. Not quite the 45 deg that Greece is experiencing, but we are in the middle of winter ...

Christchurch is a city of around 400 000 people and the city, well it's not that big. Not too many high rise buildings - what you see here literally is it.

The smallness is in fact the charm, big enough to be a city, but small enough to easily access everything and have few traffic problems. In the background are the foot hills of larger mountains behind with skiing just a little over an hours drive.

It's nice.
