But there were tears at the end. My tears. Tears of joy to be finished. OK, I exaggerate, I didn't cry, but I did allow myself a wry smile.

Had pictures from Luke overnight. He is in the north, on the border with Mongolia and was tucking into a local delicacy, a whole sheep's head. It looked truly awful. I do hope this isn't what he has in mind for his wedding feast. I was going to say that if it was, I would be nipping out for a Chinese, but he's in China. I wonder what they nip out for when they feel a bit peckish? I very much doubt it's an English.
