Seemed a good idea at the time. As most tend to do.

I like to add a bit of variety to the home run every now and again, and the Kildean Loop behind the college is normally a good one. Today though, the Forth had burst it's banks and flooded the path (I blame the moon). Was ok for the first fifty yards or so, managing to slosh through but still keep pedalling. Then it suddenly dipped and the wheels went under water, forcing a quick and splashy dismount and ended up pushing it the next couple of hundred yards until the path resurfaced here. Most refreshing that was, though it meant a soggy arse and a rather squelchy commute (after spending twenty minutes unravelling all the green stuff wrapped around every moving part).
