Day 1 - So delicate

The drive.

We are on our way to Keflavík Airport driving from Akureyri. It's a very long drive - 429 km - and our flight is at 7:50 AM on the 21'st. No stop allowed on the way but I haven't take this day photo so when the Northern Lights make a show three minutes stop and then back in the car. I'm not prepared for something like this to happen ... no tripod in hand so the camera is placed on the road. Luckily no traffic so late at night.

Two nights in a row the Northern Lights make a dance and it's only late August. This is a good sign for coming winter and hopefully plenty more opportunities to photograph this amazing phenomenon.
