Bring me sunshine...
A trip to the Stitching, Sewing and Hobbycraft Show at Event City with Belinda and Carey.
Possibly the best piece of advice offered all day was " make sure your rubber doesn't have a hole in it."
That's what the fitness instructor said as she gave us rubber exercise bands so we could take part in The Heart Foundation's armchair-robics, a session of seated exercises to music. It was more difficult and more fun than I'd expected...
Later we learned from the editor of Woman's Weekly, how they select stories for inclusion in their magazine and Belinda returned later for a 1:1 feedback on a story she had written.
As we headed over to the Trafford Centre for something to eat, Belinda spotted some giant foam fingers and she made us pose in them. "Try and look like Charlie's Angels" she said.
More like right Charlies we thought, but did it anyway.
I had my revenge later when they did their Morecambe and Wise routine for my blip.
Carey was such a good sport and we all had a laugh when someone suggested she was a dead ringer for Diana Dors, of course we are all much too young to remember her.
