She saved this one!

But there were 21 other shots that she didn't :-/

First match of the new season and it looks like she's going to be the goalie, for now anyway. She did really well actually and was quite fearless. She took one in the stomach, dived at loads of feet and even saved a powerful shot with her face as the final whistle went.

It earned her a lot of praise all round (the opponents' parents included, they were lovely) and Man of the Match from their manager :)

We'll work on her big kicks before the next one.
