Bunyan's Oak

Possibly the most famous local landmark, and today - after over 6 years of living in the village - I got to see it.

One of my bookclub friends and I thought it would be nice to spend some of our child-free time not stuck behind a computer screen (and some social time together not sat in a pub...), so we have committed to go for a walk every week. We'll see how long this lasts...

(Although, I have just - perhaps somewhat over-confidently - signed myself up for a 40km walk next May, so that should provide some necessary motivation through the winter... I do promise not to bang on about it too much on here! ;-) )
