Misty Moisty Swallow Pond

Another misty moisty morning, so I went for a jog and stopped to take this shot of Swallow Pond. It's a bird sanctuary in a subsidence pond in an old mining area, in the Rising Sun Country Park - a super bit of "countryside" about 4 miles north-east from the centre of Newcastle (and only a mile or two from our house). I only had my phone as a camera so couldn't take any telephoto shots of the birds (another day perhaps?) but I rather liked this misty view across the pond. You can just see one bird (a gull?) flying near the centre.
