Red Cross Huger Day Collector

The Collection for Red Cross Hunger Day is here again!

This is A, my mother in law - the grandmum, she has been in in Hunger Day Collecting Since 1980. Already for 35 years!

The first Hunger Day Collection ever was maintained in Pälkäne and it was just a test collection. Next year it was already a nation wide collection in Finland, and was hold every year since. So our grandmum A is one of the people starting this tradition! All aged people are collecting money this week specially, pupils in schools, adults, elderly people too.

Today she collected today 2 "bankful" in four hours standing like this in the willage center. Meeting also her friends and aquintances passing by. I'd like to help her, but she had booked me and my hubby to make a visit to hubby!s godmother for a cup of coffee...

A nice sunny day in Pälkäne, I made a lovely bicycle drive (with grandpa's bike) along the country roads after capturing this shot. Sunny, +18c, peaceful.
