OAK

This reminds me of one of my favourite objects in the British Museum, a wreath of gold oak leaves with a bee and two cicadas from Hellenistic Turkey. Nothing quite so exotic here, but there's what appears to be a cluster of eggs on the back of one of the leaves which I only noticed when I looked at it on the big monitor. It's just above and to the right of centre if you want to look large.

Feeling inexplicably exhausted today, barely able to drag one foot in front of the other. My bed is calling me very persuasively. Sweet dreams.
