Last day of Sam's holiday and we tried to muddle through and forget that fact.

A couple drinks in the Hanging Bat to get us back into the Edinburgh way of things.

As Dexter is still not putting on weight according to the charts, the health visitor and staff nurse have suggested that we get him onto solids sooner rather than later. Today was the first attempt. We would have liked to try baby led weaning but it's probably a bit early for that and concern for his weight wins the purees vs blw argument.

The carrot went down very well though and Dexter loves his spoon.
