Altogether . . .
Aaaahh . . .
I was sitting here quite innocently thinking it's about time I went out to take some pictures when the doorbell rings. It's our neighbour . . . with a kitten . . . I know what's coming. Yes we will; we're big softies. She was part of a small litter. She's about six or seven weeks old. Now what shall we call her?? I hope she's fairly healthy. The cat population in the Round Valley is so inbred that many of the cats around here have problems . . . she'll have to be vetted and spayed . . .
The man of the house where she came from (not the neighbour) was going to shoot the litter. And this when on the front page of today's local paper is the picture and story of a cat that was harmed with cigarette burns and thrown out of a vehicle. It's in the care of Kari our local veterinarian who is super busy. I will drop by to give a donation towards the care of the cat which Kari is providing pro bono
And today we buried one of our other cats, Ceddie.
