Derelict Thursday -Pub

This is our local pub. Until 6 months or so ago it was always busy and a focus for the local community. The problem was that the person who owned it spent far too much on renovating it and he couldn't recoup his capital expenditure. He therefore abandoned it and this is how the previously tidy garden has deteriorated.

There are strong rumours that it has been sold and will re-open next month. Unfortunately the opportunity for profits that could have been made by staying open over this lovely summer has now gone. They will also have to work to rebuild the customer base.

Hopefully the new owners will get the balance right. The previous ones set their sights too high and wanted to compete in the posh gastro-pub market. What we want is a nice local that knows how to serve a good pint with quality pub grub. We shall see!

OK - I admit it, there is a 'little' image processing on this. I used a Nik ColorEfex plugin called Monday Morning which added a bit of a grunge look.
