. . . And there's still a lot to do.

Having cleared out the kitchen units yesterday, our man spent the day with what was, effectively, a small pneumatic drill removing the floor tiles. We spent most of the day out so that we could savour some peace and quiet and had lunch at our local flower emporium; unusually, Mrs TD paid and was aghast at the price of our regular Friday lunches. She remembers when a fish supper cost one and sixpence and sees no reason why that should have changed in the last sixty years. I sense a ban on such extravagances being a daily occurrence for the duration.
