Free cartwheel

I haven't Blipped a Sally shot for a while. This summer has been the summer of backflips and no-hands cartwheels, aka 'aerials', and the summer of my heart-in-my-mouth as she flick-flacks and round-offs all over the place ..

To be honest, I didn't think we'd still be in the park, in shorts, under blue sky in October - so this Blip is as much a celebration of another beautiful day, as a celebration of the pure pleasure she gets from her body's ability to run, jump, flip, flap, tumble and spin upside down.

She had a competition today. She didn't get a medal, but that's beside the point. Gym has given her confidence, skill, friendship, discipline and huge enjoyment. And it gives me a HUGE thrill to look at her and think 'wow, that's my girl'.
