Lunar Eclipse and Blood Moon
If you weren't obsessed and went to bed at a normal time last night, here's what you missed...
This was done all in camera (cropped in LR) using Nikon's image overlay option. It wasn't possible to do the double exposures that I love because of the time between shots but with careful placement of the moon in each shot, I think it worked out pretty darn good! Needed the tripod and remote trigger because as it eclipsed it required longer exposures. I was a little concerned near the end because clouds or fog, not sure which yet, came blowing through but with little gaps I got a couple of shots to finish the series.
