Homework

Sam had to write the beginning of a story for his homework. His writing is neat enough but the way he holds his pen has me biting my tongue.

He has held it this way since he was three, despite being shown other easier ways and my buying a plethora of different shaped pencils to encourage a less awkward position...

My obsession stressed Sam out so much that in the Early Years for a while he refused to write anything at all.

So I keep my mouth shut and he manages fine...I have now learned to choose other battles...
