The perfect Blipfoto present

Here at Blipcentral we have a soft spot for film; you can’t beat the feeling of excitement as you pick up freshly printed 6x4 glossy prints to see what you've captured. We also love how it makes us slow down and think about what we really want to capture.

The camera of choice in the Blipfoto office is the Olympus Trip 35. It’s a 40 year old marvel of engineering; fully automatic with no batteries required. Small and light enough to take anywhere, but stylish enough to fit in with even the coolest crowd.

So this week we are giving away a very special version of the Trip 35 as part of our 10th birthday celebrations.

This particular beauty was built in May 1981. It was recently rescued from a forgotten existence in someone’s attic, making it’s way to a charity where one of the Blipfoto team rescued it with a kind donation. We won’t lie, it was in a ‘well loved’ condition; a bit dirty, shaky and rattily. Hours of work from one of our very own Blipcentral team has gone into taking this from being ‘well loved’ back to just being LOVED. We love its new character, the charm of an old camera now restored to its former glory just warms our hearts.

It’s a great little camera, once again ready for a life of long walks on the beach and candle lit birthdays. It looks beautiful with new Blipfoto clothes and operates like a dream. It is the envy of the office, we all want one, but it’s a one off camera and there is simply not another one like it.

It’s what we consider the perfect Blipfoto present. The perfect gift for us to give to one lucky person to celebrate 10 years of Blipfoto.
