Happy Blipday, dear Blip!

The 2014 Wine Harvest parade in Neustadt am der Weinstrasse offered red balloons a-plenty: just look at this giant bunch of grapes on one of the hundreds of decorated wagons that made up the parade! (Note the faces in the background for a sense of scale.)

It's a good job it was Blip's 10th birthday or I'd have been totally torn for choice - there were so many clever, creative decorations. But this pic it had to be, to say - ballooning with pride - how very grapeful we blippers are to Blip Central for this super site.

Thanks for all your good wishes for our holiday. They worked beautifully: we had an absolutely fab time and summer weather. We caught up with old friends and new in Neustadt - including my very first blipmeet with Elwetritsche! Great fun! But more of that anon as I catch up with backblips of our holiday ...
