What is it?

I could do a Draco "What is it?", but won't.

With the way work is at the moment I am getting very little time to do anything much, so it's down to find a household object, stick it in front of the D700 which is currently living on the tripod in the spare room and do a quick macro.

This is my kitchen knife sharpener, with the plastic guide removed to show the bits that do the sharpening.
