Reflection

After arriving home from DC early this morning and having a long nap, we enjoyed an hour or so walking around one of our nearby parks. This park is on the way home from the dog-sitters and we walked there several times before I even discovered that there was also a lake in the woods.

It was a beautiful day but it did include some heavy rain this afternoon. Thankfully it didn't last long and we were able to enjoy the fresh air and the beautiful autumn colours. There's nothing more wonderful than being outdoors after being cooped up in a plane for several hours!

This wasn't my best picture of the day, but I chose this one because I love how much of the sky is reflected in the water.
