Autumnal Glow

Sun going down, I like the low sunlight on this lovely tree. Taken in haste, after 5pm.

Stormy day. Major disruption due to tail end of Hurricane Gonzalo. Heard The Rest was closed, with gusts of 88 mph. Ferries cancelled, Skye Bridge closed, other bridges restricting high sided vehicles, powercuts in towns all across the country, and on several of the islands. Thankfully it wasn't too bad in Glasgow.

Disappointed to read this BBC news piece about Glasgow Cathedral, a special place in our city. Charging admission is not welcoming to those who seek solace, and a place to pray.
