MonoMonday Challenge - Texture

So much for the sunny weather which was promised... gray and chilly. Though I know it is much too warm to snow, that is the feeling of the damp heaviness and grayness of the air.

Playing with the macro ring and the 75 mm... Amazing how close in I get into an object! This is of a speaker tweeter and grill. I tried to put the focus on the front tip of the bullet and let the focus fall where it may on the strings. The front grill is made simply of black elastic strings stretched from top to bottom. One of the most beautiful grills of all time (IMHO) and a great temptation to any child who comes within finger distance... :)
