BCAM - Pink Challenge Day 28

Okay, how zany is this??? What in the world??? I am in the cake business but I really don't know about this one! Makes for a good 'pink' blip anyway.

So today was the big trip up to the observation deck (124th floor) of the tallest building in the world ... The Burj Khalifa. Jodi has a fear of heights but managed very well and we had a good time up there. Beautiful views of Dubai on a fairly clear day. Was so good to be there with them all and yes we did buy the souvenir picture of us all At The Top.

We spend the rest of the day checking out Dubai Mall which the girls thought was one of the best malls they had EVER been to! Yay, score one for Dubai!!! But before you think that Dubai is all about malls, let me just say, I saved the best one for the last :)

We had lunch at the Cheesecake Factory which all of us wanted to do, it was awesome and we celebrated Jodi's birthday there.

Sherry and Geraldine and my step mum met us for dinner at Carluccios overlooking the mesmerising Dubai Fountain. It was just fabulous.

Finished the day with drinks up at Neos at the Address and for some more amazing views of Dubai at night and also the Burj Khalifa and a bird's eye view of the Fountain.

Got a bit lost leaving the Mall as the roads are all new and I had no idea where I was but thankfully managed to get ourselves back on track. A long, very fun day with all us girls! What a blast.
