Said goodbye to mum on Sunday, I said I had to go back to kids, and she was deeply saddened. I learnt that feeling too … when I was leaving the hospice she was deeply asleep and did not want to wake her (she doesn't want to sleep much these days), so I kissed her carefully and just left.
I phoned her on my way to the airport and we had a quick chat then, her carer said she was quite a bit unsettled however happy I was safe.

So happy to see my husband and kids after 3 weeks of being absent from their life.

A
