MonoMonday:Old and New

I have just been looking at the other MonoMonday:Old and New entries on Skeena's page and this seems a bit mundane.

However it does give me an opportunity to have a toothbrush rant.

Once upon a time they lasted weeks or months. Now I find they last days or weeks. I have discovered their longevity is inversely proportional to the price. A $1 TEK brand keeps me going for ages, but they aren't easy to find. There will be a whole wall of different sorts in the supermarket, but no TEKs. The expensive ones ($4-$6) also have ergonomic handles which I find results in the toothpaste running down my hand, arm and (with the really pricey ones) sometimes to the elbow.

Oh well, things just aren't what they used to be :-(
